These seem more like quotes that belong one of those cliché pictures. I can't relate to most of them and I'm not going to pretend I do to seem like "oh I'm a great guy, look at me ladies," when in reality I'm not close to being perfect boyfriend material. I believe that when a strong guy allows the curtains to drop even for a few seconds that he is showing strength through his emotions. He is under control of his emotions while allowing others to see that he is moved to tears when he stops to think of his love for me. I understand, because I feel the exact same way about him!

Maybe when you really and truly love someone that deeply yourself, you'll understand the statement. (That's not a put down.)

That is what I mean. I do not hide my emotions or keep them ridgedly under control. When a guy willingly allows himself to cry in front of you, that is strength, however he is still keeping them in check by crying instead of bottling them up inside. When I say that he must keep them in check, I say that he must know what to feel at the right time, and he must know when the right time is to show emotion, and he must do this all the time.
