What is no-poo method?

I Tried The
No-poo has a really different meaning than how you think. It is not about poo that appears on your mind. It is the "poo" of "shampoo". So it means "no shampoo".

Why "no shampoo"?

Chemicals in shampoo can irritate and dry out your scalp and hair. And as your scalp dries, it produces more oil. As a result, your hair gets oily so fast and you have to wash it more often. The more often you wash it, the more oily it gets. That's how it works.

When you stop using shampoo all of a sudden, you will experience a transitional period. In this period your scalp will try to adjust the the balance of the oil to keep your hair healthy. So don't give up if your hair gets more oily.

What can you use insted of shampoo?

Most people using this method use baking soda instead of shampoo. And apple vinegar instead of hair conditioner. If you don't use apple vinegar mixture after applying the baking soda mixture, your hair may get dry. And also to keep the PH balance, it is better to use apple vinegar mixture.

How to prepare these mixtures?

The amount of baking soda that you use can change according to your skin type. I have a really dry skin and my hair hardly gets oily so I used 3tsp of baking soda for a glass of water. I mixed them and applied to my wet hair by massaging.

After waiting a few min. I washed it off and applied apple vinegar mixture. I put 2 spoons of apple vinegar for 2 glasses of water. And I didn't wash my hair after applying it.

My observations

When I read the comments of people who tried this method before, I saw that some are pretty happy with the results and some are not. I am belong to the happy group as it didn't make my hair any stinky or oily. My hair became smooth and clean.

My hair would fall a lot but it doesn't fall that much anymore even after washing my hair with this method only for once.
