He is a dangerous criminal from Compton however he has 50,000 likes for being "incredibly handsome" despite his behaviors relating to his mugshot. It is questionable whether this is acceptable or not at current; how do you feel on the matter?

This is essentially a matter of "Looks over Personality".

He is hot and is getting the attention he deserves

Giving positive attention to him based on his activities is wrong

I was just about to post something about this. lol

Apparently there are tons of women out there trying to raise money for him, saying they'd date, have sex, even marry this guy! Completely ignoring the fact that he is a CRIMINAL! The sad thing is too, good, accomplished men, good looking or otherwise (it doesn't even matter) don't receive NEARLY the kind of attention this guy has already received for not only doing nothing with himself, but committing a crime and displaying criminal behavior... and women literally blindly throwing themselves at him! It's disgusting!

Today's women really need to get their heads out of their asses. If you let emotions trump logic before even knowing a guy, chances are more than likely that you're going to get burned one way or another. It's that simple.

This whole thing only proves that the "bad boy" phenomenon is real and as a result, there are countless guys out there fed up and frustrated because of it.

This is where my concern lies. If men believe that any means of acquisition of fame is sufficient then the proposition of respect and truly engaging behavior is just lost. You can't demand to be treated like a queen and fall for felons who treat people as disposable.

Mine's been shaken for a while now. The girl I really liked a long while ago now, classy, smart, beautiful... she dated guys on drugs and that dealt them out and resembled a thug much more than they resembled a good guy like myself, and I've been upset about it ever since.

He's not receiving positive attention for his illegal activities... he is receiving attention because he is HOTTER than most average men. The attention is not going to make a difference in the ruling of his case, so don't know what the deal is with people getting all upset. That's in any given situation, studies have shown that attractive people in any circumstances are favored than the average and unattractive people. This is in all societies because humans are visual and social creatures. So his appearance influencing the juries decision on the case is no different than an attractive guy getting a job over someone with equal to better qualifications because he was better looking. It's life, we cannot control the subconscious innate human nature. The human mind actually associates positive qualities and traits with an attractive individual than their counterparts.

The thing is that he went viral because of photoshop, all those likes are people tuning in on the fun. Actually if you read the article, that isn't a real ad. It's some photoshopped picture a fan stuck on the Facebook page. I think overall it says a lot about the intelligence of people making those posts on Facebook. '"Holy [heck] i would arrest him too.. hottest bad boy I've seen," one Facebook user wrote. Another woman added, "He can kidnap me anyday... Hold me against my will lol."'

Unfortunately, it's really easy for people to just focus on looks when all they see is that picture of him instead of pictures of people he's hurt.
It says a lot about how presenting material can change opinions of a person, even a violent criminal.

Women finding him attractive doesn't change anything. He is physically attractive, that's true and it's ok to mention it. He's still going to prison, it would be wrong if he somehow got out of it because he is handsome, but he's not.
I'm not concerned by this reaction and frankly I'm not sure why it's so upsetting now. As I said, it happens with female mug shots all the time and people don't make that big news

On images female judgments are actually swayed by a lot of characteristics and is more erratic than a males; for instance females will judge the same image with two different scores based on his perceived income, perceived age, perceived status, etc. while men will judge women more on physical attributes. It's sort of interesting how it works but basically intangibles seem to be more of a concern than tangibles and vice versa between sexes.

As studies on the matter continue it's just not as fairyland as we wish; legal preferential treatment is rampant and even for the same exact crime (many crimes are equal, actually; very rarely is there any major imperative between common crimes) females get lesser sentences. Hell speeding tickets are doled out differently, and that's as basic as it gets.

Well, actually that's whats kind of interesting; looking around I've seen a lot of these comments (I really should stop paying this mind) from women talking about how it's "not that bad" and he's a delicious bad boy and all sorts of lewd comments like how he could kidnap them any day and all sorts of silliness. Mind you the reason it's actually a big deal is because supposedly females are the vanguards of political power in relation to attractiveness which simply means that their weight and words are much heavier.

Raising bail to let out a criminal, even if it obviously will be turned away, is either a really bad joke or a really volatile set of morals. I'm not quite sure these people are joking. There's a difference between admiring someone's beauty and looking over the entire case and ogling someone ignoring the fact that they are a dangerous criminal simply for sexual indulgences. As for the vanguard point, neither do I, but I am not society and what I think has little value in this case. It is only what is true of the world at large.

Good looks tend to make people more sympathetic. Also proves people care about looks heavily and tend to overlook other aspects of a human. The crime makes a difference too. Bad boy type that many find attractive.

If the charge was something like sexual assault , manslaughter, child or animal abuse then people most likely wouldn't give such positive gestures.

Actually in a sense I do. He is a sign of a real sociological problem between the duality of the commoner and the celebrity. While not worried about him specifically this sends a very poor message to the community at large where men genuinely come to believe that criminality is just another road to sexual attractiveness. While many females do have the same happenstance because males just base on looks alone it doesn't send the message "Being in jail as a female = men all day" and due to it's lack of reciprocal nature it's why it's not comparable.
