Are guys attracted to wheatish or a little brownish complexion? Or is it a sparkling white face the way to a guy's heart and mind?

So, I am indian. And to be brutally honest this country is obsessed with fair skin. There are commercials which directly imply that if you are dark then you have got no freaking chance to get a job or even a guy!
However, times are changing. We have many beauties who are dark (some even darker than me). M not at all satisfied with my complexion, sometimes i think m too dark, sometimes m okay. But the thing is... i have got loads of proposals. I have a perfect body and pretty features. But my skin tone is a little brownish (not much though). Guys are attracted to me and i really don't know why. Big time flustered. I am scared of wearing bright colours, especially white. M just 15 and i am confident that i will turn to be a beautiful lady but just for now m really fed up with my complexion. There are many guys behind me and then some girls who envy me but that doesn't stops me from being insecure. I can't even stand to someone who is fairer than me or beautiful. Please give me an honest opinion guys. :'( m all bonker

Its called colorism honey. . lol. a lot of black people want to be lighter too its seen as more beautiful but its due to our history in America. My boyfriend mom is a darker Pakistani woman and she married a white man who loved her. My boyfriend still looks pure pakistani so the fact that his father is white is irrelevant. I'm darker than him and loves me. You just have to except yourself and be confident.

You've got nothing to worry about! Indian women are drop dead beautiful, and so is their completion. I'm as fair as they come and I can't pull off whites or colours like they can (washes me out!) I'm so jealous

I am an Indian. Even though I hate to say this, but majority of the Indians are obsessed with fair skin. My skin clour is wheatish with a pale yellow undertone. Few friends of mine have fair skin, and they get most of the attention. For example- getting the role of the female protagonist in a school drama. That usually happens in a regular basis. But I find myself pretty normal. The only thing that comes to my mind is , " confidence is the only thing you need to wear".

I don't know where your from but it's not like that where I'm from everyone is judgmental about themselves especially girls but your still young I'm sure it will get better with time

I don't think so lots girls with color and most go for girls with caramel colored skin

Megan fox is fair. That's not a dark skin tone. My skin tone is kinda same as Priyanka Chopra. I am an indian myself, and even I think Magan fox's complexion is pretty fair.

I'm partial to darker skinned girls. Not super dark, but I don't care much for pasty white complexions.

In the U. S., there are more men who would be happy with your complexion than not. It isn't important here.

I am the opposite, I usually go for white girls. I am Indian myself (Portguese and Indian) and I get the whole stereotypical look and attitude.
