How's your skin work? Sometimes, I make an aspirin mask and dab it on the areas. Plus I have this green tea in my house that for some reason tastes nasty, but if you soak a towel in it and set it on your face it can help. Also, I do this cinnamon honey mask that works wonders. It will smooth out your face so you can cover up your face with make up smoothly.

Cinnamon is an irritant though! You have to be very careful when you use it on your face. Dab a little on part of your skin. If your face starts to heat up, take it off as fast as possible. Substitute ground coffee instead.

I also use the Biore wipes every other day because my skin is super sensitive. Then I put moisture back on with any anti aging cream like the Olay stuff. It has vitamin e in it that is really good for your skin.

My skin is /really/ bad, but I just try and stay on top of it.

Many different types of things can work depending on your skin type. Do you have dry, oily, or combination skin?

Biore has a combination skin balancing cleanser. Try exfoliating your skin gently (I recommend Clean & Clear Advantage Daily Soothing Acne Scrub) and use a moisturizer with acne medication in it (Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Control Moisturizer has 2% salicylic acid.) Personally, I mix Clean & Clear Advantage Daily Soothing Acne Scrub and Oil Absorbing Cream cleanser 6/7 days, and the Biore Combination Skin Balancing Cleanser on the one day I don't use the others.
The climate in which you live, your diet and health can also cause your skin to break out. You just have to try differet things and see what works best! :)

Benzyl peroxide 2-3 times a day is all you need. But you might need to add a moisturizer (10-15 minutes after applying the BP) so your face won't dry or get red.

Oh, and something else that works quickly for most people--but you can't do it for a long time or you might damage your intestines and suffer other side effects--is taking the max dose of an anti-inflammatory for a few days.

Well I've never had bad acne but when I get some I use the clean and clear acne control kit

Proactiv was the best topical thing for me but i'm going on birth control now

The active ingredient of Proactiv is benzyl peroxide. In other words, proactiv is just marked up benzyl peroxide.
