Since when did Shaggy from Scooby-Doo series knew martial arts?

I don't recalled ever seeing this version till now. My older male cousin never heard of this either. If Shaggy knew all these movements, then he must have learned it since his early youthful years but just never applied his talent.

I have never seen this one, but they seem to reboot the serious every few years. The also come out a with a new movie every few years. So it isn't a surprise to me that I haven't seen this one. I am guessing he got hypnotized in this one and transforms into a fighter.

I imagine this only takes place in whatever episode / movie this is... this just sounds like a classic hypnotism gimmick that cartoons often do, where the characters become the total opposite of their normal selves.
