If being gay/lesbian is a natural thing and people are born this way, then explain why doesn't the gay/lesbian community ever acknowledge this?

Not trying to offend anyone just asking a question.

The people who turn gay/lesbian because of bad experiences with the opposite sex. You know a woman who becomes a lesbian after too many bad experiences with men or a guy that becomes gay because he can't attract women (Yes there are guys out there who do this) . Why doesn't the gay community ever acknowledge these kinds of gay/lesbian people and only acknowledge those who say they are biologically gay/lesbian or in the closet. Why don't they ever acknowledge those people? Is it because those people are a threat to the popular/ belief that people can be born gay/lesbian, transgender etc

Well, I've never actually met one, and I'm decently involved in the gay community in my relatively liberal town. Also, some of the women I've met who date women after having a bad experience with a boyfriend are just experimenting- and it DEFINITELY doesn't mean she's actually gay. (which is a super bummer for those of us ladies who are.) also, their attraction to the same gender might have existed before, they just didn't act on it for perhaps family reasons or fear, or maybe you just haven't known them long enough to know the person is bisexual. To be fair, I'm sure these people exist, but the reason we don't really talk about it is because a lot of times, someone experimenting with the same gender don't actually identity as LGBT, so those aren't really the rights we're campaigning for. A girl who was abused and now dates women might not be looking to marry a woman, so we don't focus as much on that. Sorry if this answer was a little incomplete or all over the place, and I can't really speak from a gay male perspective because I haven't been there, but I hope this helps you to see kind of where we're coming from!

It has nothing about not being able to attract but about who you are.

Some began dating the opposite sex because it's what they surrounding made them believe, that a man had to be with a woman. They probably always felt like something was wrong and the day they realized they were gay or lesbian, it just felt all right.

Someone who doesn't attract the opposite sex will just feel bad about it but if you're straight, it's the same thing, you can't change it.

Those would probably be bi/pan, a woman wouldn't be able to "decide" to just go with women because of bad experince without having being attracted to them in the first place (whether they realised they where or not) and vice versa for guys who "cant attract women"

Because if you aren't born like it, you aren't real. You can't change who you are. If you are born hetrosexual, then that is what you are. Some people experience with the same sex, and some doesn't figure out their sexuality, before later in their life.

First off, no one is born gay/straight. Its society that leads you to who you are and what you are attracted to. People experiment and experience these things later on in life, like middle to high school and so forth. You aren't born out of your mothers womb thinking if you like guys or girls or even both. Its society and the people around us like parents who teach and express these things to what your own self wants in life.

Oh wait are you gonna say people are born to be transgender too? No, its a choice.
Bruce choose to be a woman and considered himself to be Caitlyn. A child isn't born and is naturally attracted to men or women. They are taught the differences and society portrays them to choose what they want in life. Thats why so many teenagers in middle and highschool question themselves to who they are and what type of person they'll become.
Their are teenagers that STILL don't know what to consider who they are and what they are attracted to.
I've talked and seen girls who spend most of their time talking to other girls as friends and start feeling some type of intimacy towards them. It has nothing to do with being born. Children don't know or experience that so why would they already be attracted to that sex.
