I have heard of the male and female symbols. just google it. I did.
the female symbol is a circle with a cross attached and the male is a circle with an arrow. Apparently they are also astological (zodiac) symbols that mean venus and mars and have been around since people came up with astrology. Men are from Mars and women are from Venus in the astrological world.
The LGBT community is a new thing. They decided to come out and have pride in the 1980's or 1990's so they took the rainbow and the gender symbols and revamped them to make them gay. It makes more sence for them to want to revamp gender symbols as opposed to Christian symbols.
It's the female symbol, not lesbian symbol. Men have that arrow thing, women have the cross thing. It has nothing to do with lesbian anything.
