How do I tell a guy he needs to change his hair style without being mean?

So the guy that I like has this hair style that doesn't really look good. How do I tell him to get a new one without hurting his feelings. FYI I would like him either way but people are starting to make fun of his hair.

show him a hairstyle you think he would look good in and tell him he would look sexy with it. if its a hairstyle he could do without having to cut it, ask him if you could do it for him for fun to see if he likes it. or if you;ve seen a photo of him with how his hair used to be before the current style say "omg.. thats so sexy! you should do that again. i think that hairstyle suits you the best!" I've done that last one many times before.

Tell him that you wanna experiment with hair; make some changes to it. You imagined different styles which you think would look good on him. Hope he let's you do it. When you create the style you like give him expressions that it looks better than anything you've seen before and that you love it.

If many people tell a guy that another hairstyle is better fit to him than his current, he tends to think the same thing as well. Well at least it happened to me. And everyone who said it was right. My current is wayy better than the previous!
