Im from the MS coast and i actually got a full ride too. Im a freshmen and Im really enjoying it when you visit you will love the campus its absolutely beautiful but try to come spring or summer it will be nicer that way. I love ole miss but just know its not the best for everybody greeks are the it crowd and its not great if your different or go against the crowd. With that being said I am really enjoying being here and im having a lot of fun the people are all great, but the lack of individuality is kind of getting to me but thats my only complaint. The parties are pretty cool and every now and then they have big names come to campus and the football experience is awesome outside of greek life the bars are ok and the square sometimes has cool stuff going on. If you are the greek type you should come if not dont erase ole miss but just know what to expect? any questions bro

Ok I am going to go out on limb and assume your black. Im black too its really weird here Im sure nobody hates anybody of another race but races barely ever hangout together when I go to frat parties I will literally be the only black guy there and its a little intimidating because theirs like confederate flags but at the same time frat guys are cool as fuck to me. Then there is all black parties which I think are way more fun than frat parties, but yeah as far as race its like a weird situation its kind of like two separate campuses and its the same way with Asians and Latinos but they are a really small group. My group of boys are more diverse so you can find different people but races dont really hangout with each other. And I dont know why. Not to scare you though lol the people here are good people but races are separate.
