Why does the smell of certain foods cooking make me sick?

Why does the smell of certain foods cooking make me sick to my stomach? Like when im cooking bacon or sausage just the smell of it cooking makes me want to puke...
And no im not pregnant.
Any thoughts on why all of a sudden this is happening?

But i can eat those certain foods that make me sick when they are cooking just fine with no problems... its just the smell of them cooking.

I'm the same way sometimes. I think my tolerance has increased ever since I increased my meat intake on a meat and cheese diet. I think it just means your body has difficulty processing certain foods or is not as good as others at adapting to certain eating conditions etc... For example when I lived in China I loved to eat chinese yogurt but now after eating Canadian yogurt for 20 years I get diarrhea every time I try to eat chinese yogurt.

My hormones have tortured me with that and some morning sickness since I was like 13.
Or your stomach is sensitive and you associate the smell with feeling gross when you eat it.

Maybe because you might be smelling some unhealthy chemicals or something unhealthy in it that is not good for you. Make sure you understand and know everything of what's in the food that you cook. And I mean everything.

It happens to many people. I feel bad with very few smells too.
