Do you think it is normal to overanalyze everything our crush does?

I'm pretty sure I do this and I see this as a response in most of the answers for questions regarding this. Do you think things would be simpler and there wouldn't be as many of these "does he/she like me" questions if we stopped overanalyzing (easier said than done ik). What are your thoughts?

Yeah, in many cases, we tend to have trouble figuring out that question if they do or not. So to makeup for that lack of knowing the answer, we try to figure it out on our own by overanalyzing what they do. While it is with the intention to get a better answer instead of asking straight forward, it really complicates our judgement further.

I don't foresee people being less insecure anytime soon. Most people are too directionless and witless to establish goals and a vision for their life, no values. They blow around in the wind. Ungrounded people will always ask stupid questions.

Over analyzing is almost always based in insecurity. In turn, insecurity is based upon a very weak character foundation. A person with a weak character is always going to ask questions like "does he/she like me" because they have no internal value system to establish a sense of self-worth (all of their "validation" comes from the external).

Most people are insecure. Most people have no values, no vision for their life, no healthy self-image, not internal feelings of self-worth.

So there isn't going to be any end to questions such as "does he/she like me," no stop in the amount of over analyzing.

Since most people are so weak, then yes, it does in fact make it normal to over analyze everything a person's crush does.

Yeah, sometimes you are wrong and it is really unfortunate.
I've mislead three ladies here and I feel super guilty... We don't even know their crushes and we are analyzing every thing they do...

I try to not do it with my crush but the thoughts always come by.

Most people do because they're searching for something. They want to find something good, then they end up feeling unsure of themselves and the fact that this person could ever like them back, so then everything is over analyzed as negative. And it turns into a cycle until they get a definite answer.
You're right, some people don't do this though.

I wish it was one of those who didn't overanalyze things. When people tell me that my crush likes me back I just can't find it easy to believe or see any of the hints yet its obvious to me when someone likes my friend or a situation like that.

Everyone over analyzes the little things their crush does. It's a bad habit because it can drive you crazy and lead you to believe things that may or may not be true.
