Sorry, haven't been active for a bit so I didn't see this q. Now that the adware is gone make sure you keep up to date with updates for the program you used to secure it and make sure you are using a good firewall. Oh and forget adblocker that's garbage, drop in a script blocker. It may take some time as you'll have to manually allow scripts for sites you frequent at first (or if you'd rather temporarily allow and figure which ones you need to allow and which not). Ultimately though it's better than just a stupid ad blocker.

Also, for your movies, why not share a Netflix with someone? Or use gift cards that you pre-purchase. And so far Netflix hasn't gotten real strict on vpns so you should be good there too.

i used what llorando recommended. its called bitdefender and that's done the job for me.

yeah i guess i could do that, but Netflix isn't that popular here yet even tho it's released. just too much hassle. like the things one has to go through to watch a movie online is ridiculous, especially if i need it for uni or something -.-

To remove malware you need to use a program like that and I saw you already had that solved so didn't comment on it lol. As far as ads in a video or anything including scripts to track you online on a site I prefer script blockers because they do much more than adblockers and are much more detailed.

And didn't know that about Netflix there, you can also use the amazon gift cards from gag to get movies from Amazon (both dvd and streaming).

OS X is for Mac only. Sunds like you have adware. first I'd try Bitdefender adware removal tool for mac.

alright then =/ so i clicked on the link u gave and apparently removed adware but nothing's changed. so right now I'm downloading bit defender virus scanner. if that fails too then ill just take it into an apple store to see wth is going on.

On last suggestion, to save a trip to the apple store.
1. Use free AdwareMedic to remove adware

Install , open, and run it by clicking “Scan for Adware” button to remove adware.
Once done, quit AdwareMedic.

Remove the adware manually by following the “HowTo” from Apple.

2. Safari > Preferences > Extensions
Turn those off and relaunch Safari.
Turn those on one by one and test.

Go to Viooz. cc no downloads at all and they have movies that are in theaters. However, brand new movies generally have bad quality of people who are filming in the theater but after a few weeks a high quality version is put up. But yeah you just go to the site pick a movie and click play. No downloads or having to tor**** so no trouble for you and I've never gotten any kind of virus from it.

hmm sounds like you may have a virus. Spyware or something. if you dont have an antivirus or anything, id try downloading AVG. they have a pretty solid free version which they regularly update, and i think you can do a 30 day trial of their advanced version which may get rid of any viruses if you have any
