Tell him to stop washing it. If you wash it with soap that makes it worse. The foreskin has it's own protective bacterial culture that protects the penis from pathogens. When you wash with soap, you kill the protective bacteria and other microbes (like yeast) flourish. Women are well advised not to douche for exactly the same reason. Unfortunately health advice for men is still stuck in the stone age.
I'm speaking from experience here. I never once washed under my foreskin until I was a teenager. Then I heard through the grapevine that uncircumcised penises were dirty and smelly and girls didn't like them. So I started scrubbing religiously and the more I washed the more it smelled. Turns out I gave myself a yeast infection. Yes guys can get them too and the symptoms are the same as for women except there's no discharge. You get itching and a fishy smell. I would have been so much better off if I had left my poor dick alone.
Moral of the story is that uncircumcised penises keep themselves clean. All you need to do is flush it out with lukewarm water once in a while and that's it. If you get a yeast infection there are over-the-counter antifungals you can get at a pharmacy without prescription. Most of them are for women (Monistat, Canesten) but there are some for men. Usually the box will say it's for treatment of jock itch. Just follow the directions on the box and it should clear up otherwise see a doctor. No circumcisions necessary.

Also, I've seen this video countless times on here already, but once more can't hurt, can it?
What Guys Said
I'm uncircumcised and that cheese like material you get under your foreskin is normal. For me, I understand it's really irritating to step in the shower, roll the skin back and find a little piece of fuzz stuck there but that's no where near reason enough for me to get circumcised.
Don't snip his johnson! :(
Keep him from doing this by keeping it in your mouth as long as possible!!!Why the hell would he get a circumcision because of that? Risk vs REWARD? HELLO!!! If he's willing to go that far just for the smell, why doesn't he just take a shower before sex every time... don't do the circ! wtf!
Ask @kheserthorpe although I would advise against it unless he suffers from phimosis.
I had it done in my mid 30s. I'm happy with it. You can message me if you want to know more.
He will be less sensitive. And it will feel different for both of you. Why does he want this?
Yes it is "safe" but he should be ready for the "side effects" of that cosmetic surgery.
Why is he thinking about it! A medical condition?
He will be slightly less sensitive though, yes.OMG !! Its typically done at birth. I wonder how painful its going to be till it heals.
He'll be fine with sex but it will hurt for a few days
