Do all animals foeget about their children?

Cause most animals care about their children for a few months and then forget about them. Like cats.. They forget their older children once they have more.

Forget* I mean. Typo.

  • Some animals rear their young for 1 to 2 years. Elephants have life-long associations with their young.

What Girls Said 2

  • Some animals live as family units pretty much forever.

Others, as soon as the child isn't dependent on the parent, it's on it's own.

My understanding, is that Prey animals, stay together

Predator animals, separate. They need to find their own territories and sources of food.

Better to cut ties with family, then fight them for your very survival
