Names that work in English and German?

My husband and I are having a baby. He is German and I am American, so we want names that "work" in both languages, but we haven't really come up with much. By work, I mean that a German or American person wouldn't totally screw up their name or have a hard time reading it. It would also be good if the name is pronounced in a similar way in both languages. We're looking for both male and femal names. Does anyone have any ideas?

  • Why don't you look at German baby names and then pick ones you feel you can pronounce easily. You can ask your husband to pronounce them for you and decide if you like them or not.
