  • It is all about supply and demand, skill level and the productivity of the role.
    If the job requires a person has a two-digit IQ and not much in the way of skills then it will not pay much, because (a) a lot of people will want that job and qualify to do it; and (b) the time leverage factor that allows the employer to make a margin on the worker's productivity will likely be small.
