When you're talking on the phone, do your hands move and gesture?

Kinda funny, because the other person can't see your gestures anyway lol

But I've observed that people who use their hands a lot in face to face conversations tend to do this. Also, this also has cultural backgrounds to it. Italians and Turks, for example, do this a lot. Germans, not so much. It just depends on how much hand gesture is commonly used in "real" convos.

  • it depends on the person we are talking on the phone. if we are teaching some thing to a person as our hands move automatically or if we are talking to girlfriend or friends our hands will hug our pillows.

  • I don't move my hands very much but I'm very expressive facially. Also I pace and sometimes end up upside down on chairs, under tables, I'm the sink etc

  • Sometimes I'm really expressive and move my hands around. Seems to depend on who I'm talking to.
