  • No, and I personally think that's a very ignorant thing to say. Being a woman is far more than simply having a certain body type. I don't have "curves" and I'm a WOMAN who is perfectly happy with my body. If we all looked the same, the world would be quite a boring place.

  • I will say this, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and everyone has their own preferences. To me most women would be considered attractive, the only time I think I wouldn't find them as such is if they are anorexic or very morbidly obese, these conditions are something that puts their lives in danger I don't think it would at all be a good thing which is the main reason I feel that way. Whether a woman is large or skinny as a rail I think they are attractive as long as they are relatively healthy.

My overall preference is probably somebody that fits in the middle, but what matters most is how I feel about them, when I love a woman to me she is simply beautiful.

  • 'Real women' come in all shapes and sizes. Some are 4'11 and 95lbs and flat chested, some are 6'0 and 200lbs, some are 5'7 and 350lbs.

All this 'curves' bullshit is from angry fat girls who'd rather sit and complain than actually do something about making themselves more appealing, and I don't just mean physically.

  • Women seriously need to stop shitting all over each other (I highly doubt these pics were made by any guy but if they were then I'll sure look like an ass).

No, women who don't have a wide bosum or wide hips are not any less feminine than curvier girls.

    • So you're telling me that a thin woman in her 40's is less of a woman because she got less body mass?

    • a 250lbs person is more than a 160lbs person make sense?

    • But it doesn't make her less of a woman. Did you forget about vaginas?

  • Not at all! Women come in many various shapes and sizes. :)

  • That's like saying a man without muscle is less of a man. I wonder why people always have to make others feel bad.

    • Because they're assholes who want to make themselves feel better

    • That's really the crux of it then, I say we all make efforts to disregard malicious clasifications.

  • I don't believe that at all.

  • Curves technically LOOK more womanly, yes. And to make it perfectly clear, I'm sure as heck not talking about this kind of curve:

    barefootfoodie.com/.../bikini1-258x300.jpg

I'm talking about actual waist-to-hip ratio here, the kind of curves that biologically send off signals to the opposite gender that you're healthy and fertile, aka:

    25.media.tumblr.com/.../...x9tBnA1r8efu6o1_500.jpg

Children all generally have the same straight flat bodies, whereas after puberty, women, for attraction and reproductive purposes, are supposed to store less body fat in the waist and more body fat in the hips, resulting in those curves.

However, the ONLY situation that is applicable in is when biologically speaking. On all other accounts, what shape your body is has nothing to do with how much of a woman you are.

  • I don't and I think it's such a rude thing to say. I'm so sick of the "real women have curves" quotes. Your weight says nothing about being a real woman. Women are beautiful in all shapes and sizes and it's ridiculous to criticize another woman's shape because it's not yours or your preference or to make you feel better about yourself.

  • No. I hate how we're creating all these distinctions rather than embracing them. Why do we need to hate on one body type just to like another? why can't we just have our preferences, but with respect. Women are women no matter what body type they have. Our preferences of what Type of body type we like shouldn't change the fact that a woman is still a woman

  • no not at all... I think we as a society need to embrace all types of shapes and sizes of people especially women as long as they are healthy.
