2 good websites:
1.) You are expected to know Russian language. If you don't, you'll spend 1 year in Russia learning Russian language for free with a focus on area you want to study (to teach you terminology in relevant area).
2.) Afterwards, you'll have to pass global school exams like every other Russian pupil does. If you fail, you can try again next year.
3.) If you pass global school exam, you can contact the universities you're interested in and take their entry exams. If you pass, you'll study for free. If you fail, you'll have to pay to attend. Fees are quite different and depends on the uni, but not as crazy as in, say, UK or USA, where a government preys on it's youth.
4.) Before any of that begins, you must apply for student's visa.
Additionally, while studying Russian language during preparation year in Russia, your knowledge will be checked to make sure you're ready for exams. If you're falling behind in terms of education, you'll be offered free help to help you rapidly get the knowledge you're missing.0
