Just curious. It seems to be mainly in the US where the gender roles are slowly not being imposed as much anymore and the fact that more men are now slowly coming forward for their own abuses. In other countries, the male victims of r@pe and domestic violence get either ridiculed with absolutely no law enforcements doing anything about it all, get strictly ridiculed by peers and even beaten and killed for being "too weak of a man".
Is the US the very first country to acknowledge men or males as potential s3xual assault and domestic violence victims?

I don't think that the US is the first country to do that, but it's good that it's happening more.0

Nope the US is behind the curve on that... but despite legal progress across the western world, popular oppinion is still distinctly against the concept of men being able to be victims.0
