How to be easy going, but not a pushover?

i view myself as being pretty easy going, but, i have noticed that people (not on here, but at my college, like roommates) have taken advantage of that. I still want to keep the easy goingness of my personality, but i dont want people to "walk all over me." How do I do this? Any ideas? Thanks :)

tell people off occasionally, but not all the time. Example:

Friend: can I borrow money
You: No
Friend: Please?
You: No

And then the next time they ask, then let them borrow and say "alright I'm feeling generous today"

I think u should care a little less what others think about u. U can still be nice for the most part, but just don't give in to something that u don't want to do

Scorpios do this naturally. We act gullible or even naive to lure a person into showing us their true colors but won't let them near and often turn the tables. Linda Goodman said "treat all Scorpios with caution. I'm not saying they're wicked they're just not soft or naive."

When they try totake advatage put a stop to it. Be assertive and let them know you are not weak.
