Think of a bunch of other stuff.
DO breathing exercises. Focus on your breathing and you will become so focused on making sure you are doing the exercise right and breathing correctly that you will kind of let your problems go into the background of your mind. I never thought it would work, but I started doing it and it actually does help.
Find a hobby that you love to do. Or maybe try something new! :) Reading, drawing, a sport, etc.
