Do hair salons charge more for 'washing your hair'?

I called this place and they say they charge 25-35 for a haircut. I was like what do you mean? depends on what? he said a haircut is 25 and a haircut+wash is 35. What do they mean by a wash? Like when they wash your hair before cutting it or after they cut it with special products?

  • Yes, they all do that. But that wash is really expensive...

  • I assume that they wash your hair with conditioner and stuff, then you get a hair cut (easier to do when hair is wet) and then they'll dry and "style" your hair.

  • The place I go to is $20 for a haircut and a shampoo. That is with out tip.
35 does sound high tho. They better be using good products for that price.
Another place I went to charged 13 for haircut and that was with style
