Learning how to drive?

Can you tell me EVERYTHING in order what you did when you learned to drive.

Ex: 1) turning 2) parking 3) on highway

just any little details. Im not sure which order I should do.
I know there's no certain way but I'd like to see how some of you did it.

Thanks!

  • You start out by driving around an empty parking lot. Just getting moving and stopping. Then you try some quiet streets (an industrial area on the weekend is good, because the streets are huge and wide, and there’s no traffic).

Look where you want to go, and the car will follow. If you target fixate on something you don’t want to hit, you’ll hit it.

Use your brakes as little as possible – coast along if there’s something ahead, brake when you have to. Leave enough space on the highway so if the car in front slows down a bit, you don’t have to brake.

Be as smooth as possible. Imagine everyone in the car has a brimming cup of scalding hot coffee with no lid. There’s no rush.

There is far more to driving than can be covered here.

  • honestly, you'd learn better if you just practice with your mom or dad in the passenger seat driving in an empty parking lot or something.

  • The best way to learn to drive is to dive right into the deep end head on. 8 lane highway should be your first drive and you're driving to the middle of a big city where you have to find a parking space and do a parallel park.
