Guys, do you think girls overreact about period pain?

I started mine yesterday but today I had the worst period cramps like one of the worst cases in my whole life. It got so bad that my whole left side of my body cramped up and I couldnt move. I wanted to cry a lot but I was in public. So guys when girls complain about period pain do you get annoyed and feel that they overreact or do you sympathize?

The thing is I've never met a girl who talks about her period pain. I guess girls here don't like to express discomfort in front of others, so they take the pain head on like a champ. So in short, I've never heard any girl complain about her period pain, hence never annoyed. I'd sympathise though.
