  • MyTakes are extended discussions of a topic and they do not necessarily ask a question. The Xper points awarded are significantly greater for myTakes.

  • Writing a myTake is like writing an informal article. You basically just give "your take" or opinions on a certain topic and roll with it. Here are examples: www.girlsaskguys.com/recent?t=takes&tf=promoted

Asking a question is literally just asking a question. You can give some additional context in the box below the title.

  • A question is you seeking opinions from the community. You don't know the answer to something so you hope the community can enlighten you on the matter.

A myTake is you posting an opinion or word of advice to the community. You are sharing your knowledge with the people, not seeking it. Think of myTake like an advice article. People responding your myTake are more or less just commenting on your opinion-- what they agree/disagree with etc.
