I feel uncomfortable in racially homogenous situations?

Like, I only feel comfortable in mixed groups, and, I don't know why. I feel like an outsider around a group of only whites, Asians, hell, even black people, I only don't feel it when I'm surrounded by just Hispanics, honestly.

  • hmm, i kind of understand the feeling, but i dont mind it. the only time i really actually dislike it is when they start talking their native language together. i find that kinda inconsiderate in front of me, especially when their English is fine.

but yeah in general I'm fine in those situations.

    • I think I feel comfortable around them because they're not really homogenous like the other groups

  • I assume you're Hispanic yourself, yes?

I think most people feel similar if they were honest about it.

    • Nope, I'm black, well, black Hispanic, but, both I and my family go with black more than anything else

    • Maybe it was the area you grew up in then?
