  • I think the former is worse, because you can simply fall into vicious cycle of what-ifs. In the latter case, at least you learned a valuable lesson from the thing.

  • Regretting not having taken the chance would be worse for me. I can justify having tried and things not worked out but a life time of wondering what could have been is a bitter pill to swallow
