How would you (as a parent) teach your child to stop being a sore loser?

Like he/she rages like it's the end of the world when losing a Video Game?

  • Every loss builds the path to a win. Mostly I just tell the kids to maintain their conduct or they lose game priveledges. That's how life works anyway. If you act like a crazy maniac, you get removed from priveledges.

  • I'd say what my mom always says to me. "Your best is good enough." Because it's always been a phrase I've favored... I'm not usually a sore loser though so I don't know how to help with that too much.

  • Try playing Dark Souls II and see if you don't become a bad loser after dying 240 times...

  • The majority of tantrums are repeated behaviors. When we act like calm, rational kind people through our actions and refrain from acting out and having tantrums our children would not do it.
