Is it possible to use the word "curvy" with its true definition anymore?

If someone has true curves in the right places, but says she's curvy, do people not take her seriously because curvy is now synonymous with fat?
Can people even use the word curvy to describe themselves anymore?

  • No, fat women have hijacked it, same as "thick".

  • I say hourglass figure. Sometimes I use the word curvy but I feel like I need to go into description as to what my body looks like now because all the fat girls have taken the term for themselves. I'm 103 pounds and wear a size 0-1 but I'm busty. I wear a 34 C in bras, I have a small waist that has that inward swoop toward the middle and round hips. My butt is a good size for my body as I'm only 5'1". Everything about my body is curvy but without that description, I feel most people would think I'm fat.
