Do you live in a landlocked country or state?

A landlocked country is a country without a coastline with a sea or an ocean, which depends entirely on other countries for sea access. Because many people here live in the US, you can also answer if your state is landlocked.

  • Yes, I do. I come from Switzerland, which is indeed landlocked. However, it's actually quite okay because we have tons of beautiful, clean lakes and rivers. Switzerland is sometimes called "Europe's water castle" (along with Norway) because we get so much water from the mountains. Also, as you might know yourself, living in a landlocked country can be nice because in those rare times you actually get to see the sea, you can appreciate it even more :-).
