How can I safely look at the sun without going blind?

If I took a picture of the sun and looked at would that be safe too look at.

  • Make sure to wear 3 pairs of sunglasses before looking at the picture. And make sure you're in a bright room. If the room is too dark the sun in the picture may be brighter and more hurtful to the eyes. Also have a bucket of water handy in case you need to douse yourself or the picture with it!

  • Take a picture of yourself, and then take a picture of the sun. Once finished, place both photos across from each other. There you go, you are now looking at the sun safely.

  • Sure, you can take a picture of the sun and look at it. Just shows up as a big bright light.

    I've stared at the sun though welder's glass. It was pretty cool.
