  • I wouldn't use it even if it was available in my state. As much as I dislike going to the gynecologist, it's definitely necessary and something I want to do in an effort to take care of my own health. Having to go to my gynecologist for an annual appointment in order to get a new yearly prescription for birth control each year will ensure that I do it, even though it is an inconvenience. Women's and reproductive health is important and it's necessary to have those exams, especially if someone is sexually active. I also value the opinion of my gynecologist when it comes to selecting a birth control, and I like having that face to face contact with her to talk about it.
