What does finesse mean when someone says I finessed tf out of Walmart

  • Finesse (from French fin├Ęsse) means doing something with great skill and in a careful, sometimes sophisticated way. For example you might build a house of playing cards with finesse. In your example, it probably means that you've snuck an item very skillfully out of Walmart (so nobody detected you).
