Saddest philosophy book you've read?

It could be a philosophical novel, an educational book on philosophies, it could be random. But one in particular, that you found sad, or that has made you feel sad.

Better yet, a philosophy book that has left a mark on your emotions.

  • I wrote a book once in class, it was so saddening my teacher called my parents and a psychiatrist. I was also nominated for a Nobel prize in litariture.

In all seriousness, I've read a lot of sad books. Most recently I read "the room".
I cried but in a manly way!

  • Cloud Atlas. The movie adaptation is great, as well. Encompasses so many topics, so many interwoven stories spanning generations.
