  • from what i recall of the subject, brunette and blond hair are basically genetically in the same category with a couple of the genetic letters moved about. there are much notable genetic distinctions in black or red hair types, where as the only difference between blond and brown is the colour.
    (i'm super simplifying and can't really much of this)
    the type (strait, curly. etc) and the hair width is governed by the shape of the follicle. so obviously oriental hair is thicker than blond hair, but if you were to take averages of blondes and brunettes, the thickness and curliness ratios would be the same.. i think..
