  • I'd love to, but it seems like it would be extremely expensive. I think I'll just stick to cutting down on electricity like I am now.

    • In the U. S the government is starting to give people incentives for getting solar panels.
Hell, we even get door to door solar salesmen here now

  • I have a solar pool heater, does that count?
I did so because my state picks up 25% of the bill.

  • The problem is that when there's sun here, we don't need it that much. Most homes have no airco. Thus we need to pay to send the surplus to the grid.
All incentives have been scrapped here.
Big batteries like a Tesla home battery are expensive:

And as well the solar panels as the batteries have a limited lifespan.

No big savings to be expected thus with present prices and technology. in my opinion

    Later, maybe.

  • I want to, but I use so much electricity I'm not sure if an external home battery could keep up with me. Being a heavy gamer and tech junkie sure has it's downsides sometimes.

  • By the time I OWN my own property , they'll probably have Mr Fusion nuclear power kits for sale XD
    250,000 , 400,000 for an apartment.
    Property prices are insane.

  • Too pricey, going the Solar City financing route doesn't seem too attractive to me.
