Why are so few accepting that we are all part of the 'Human Race'? Instead, buying into the separatist mentality of 'races' within it?

  • Because races exist. Scientists can even look at your skeletal remains and figure out what race you are. Those tests are over 80% accurate, that's pretty damn accurate. Yeah we're all human and all equal in basic human rights but different races do exist. That's not a bad thing at all.

  • It just doesn't work that way. Only white people say this because they're the only ones who get to forget about issues like race. Try being black and tell the police officer who's about to shoot you that we're all one race. There's a history. There's a legacy.

  • Because different races exist. Some people might clasify themselves as 'the higher race', and that makes the remaining races 'the lower race'.

What people dont get is that just because in the past you were judged by your race doesn't mean you can judge people now. The only problem is that society keeps telling us what is right and what is wrong so in reality, the whole world isn't going to change their minds and people are still getting judged by their race.

  • Better question. Why do people who believe in evolution, believe that genetics are only skin deep? That they don't affect anything but skin tone? Did they not go to school?

Genetics impact our behavior and who we are. And yes.

The Races are different. Mentally, and physically.

  • Because having a race and a ethnic background gives us more individuality then just saying we're all the same. Brings up more topics of discussion etc, and there are tests and experiments done that can both prove the existence of different human races and disprove it, so you can relate to which ever one you want to.

I prefer to look at it in the way that we're the same but we're not, we're different, in the way that a bill of currency from your country and a bill of our currency from our country are the same in way that they are currency bills and they belong to our type individual types of currency. But at the same time both are very, very different from one another, different symbols, different colors, different backgrounds, different amounts and so on and so forth. Humans are very much the same in that respect.

  • Everyone thinks that they are 'Special' and should have 'special rights' because they are different!! We are all SO MUCH MORE ALIKE, THAN DIFFERENT!!!
Every group that tries to separate, and segregate themselves, as 'different' detracts from the wondrous diversity that is US!!
The United States is the GREAT MELTING POT!! Everyone that was kicked out of whatever country, or left, hoping for something better, came here!! WE ARE ALL AMERICANS, HERE!! We are unique, in our own ways, and all should remember their history, but here, now, WE are ALL 'AMERICANS'!!
Not German-Americans, or 'African-Americans, or 'Native-Americans', but JUST 'AMERICANS' A NEW NATION, with the best of all the best of every nation, and we are ONE, now!!
Carlos Mencia said it really well, in one of his stand-up shows: We are the only nation that has soldiers that HAVE to wear uniforms!! He said they have to wear uniforms so we know they are on our team, because wherever we go to fight, we have some, on our team, that look like the enemy!!!
We have people from EVERY place on the planet, and that diversity, all those ideas, those cultures, all together, make us the BEST!!
Stop arguing about how we are different, and trying to separate us!! Think about how we are so much more alike, and think about what we can do, united, for a common good!

  • It's easier for a minority to control the majority when they're divided.

  • We're a human species, yes, but there are different races of people. Otherwise there would be no reason why someone would be born white or black from their parents. Two white parents would give birth to a black child if there was no separate races, since that is the "default" setting for humans.

All a race is is a common genetic characteristic that influences someone's internal and external "properties". People of a same race have super similar properties.

  • Because by keeping the people divided, the ruling class can more easily retain it's power.

And most people are way too stupid to see they're being manipulated this way.

    • Obama's support for the Black Lives Matter movement is a prime example of how divisive he is.

His speech in Hiroshima is a prime example of how divisive he is.

His refusal to utter the phrase "radical Islamic terrorism" is a prime example of how divisive he is.

The list goes on, Obama makes friends with our enemies and enemies of our friends. Some support him blindly no matter what, others oppose him blindly no matter what, some support him on issue A but oppose him on issue B whereas some oppose him on issue A but support him position B... It works to create numerous small factions of people, none strong enough to pose a threat in an election by themselves.
