Geology enthusiasts, what type of rock is this?

We find them literally everywhere on my parents property (Western Wisconsin, United States) and I'm curious to know what they are called. The crystals vary from a very pale brown, almost white, to a very dark reddish brown. But they are always consistent in size, very small. The photos do not do them justice. They are absolutely gorgeous in person. Geology enthusiasts, what type of rock is this?
