I was charged with a misdemeanor but we hired a really good attorney that was buddies with the country judge lmao
Court once (charges were for someone else), no jail.
I had to show up to court to prove I got my car inspected before the court date so that I only had to pay the court fee itself and not the fee for driving around with an expired inspection sticker.
Been to court many times, but never been found guilty (even though I totally was).
I went to court when I was 9 because some racist lady thought I threw a rock at her windshield after school. I had to miss school to go to court and testify my story (at age 9). I had to swear on the Bible and everything.
What's messed up is that the lady didn't even show up to court!
prison no.. jail yes. court obviously.
I've been to court
I've been to court, but it was for law class. We had those mock trials.
Once on a school trip
Our politics teacher thought it would be a good experience to see how they work.
Just the mental hospital for a month...
I've been a visitor in court quite a few times on a law enforcement internship. I've never been on the docket or taken the stand or anything like that, though.
I've been to court because some lady tried to say I caused a car accident when I was 17 and she was clearly at fault. She made a left in front of me at an intersection and I was going straight through. Her defense was that I should have yielded to her because her light was yellow.
The judge chuckled and ordered her to pay my parents for totaling the car.
I've been to both, but not for me, hah.
I have been in court many times.. I know what you think, nope, not as an offender xD
I am a future lawyer and I have to attend court sessions and mock trials.
I had to go to court for a car thing when I was a teen. So embarrassing.
As visitor only.
I've been to neither of them.
I've been in court
Court yes more then a few times jail never.
Court = Unfortunately many times in the past with my lawyer for sooo many different reasons.
There was no option for "neither."
Had to go to court once, after my car accident.
I have not , no.
