  • They should, but given the arrogance of Democrats these days they likely won't.

Trump really has nowhere to go but up, everybody already knows all the crap about him, all he really needs to do is elevate himself by two or three points and he'll have it in the bag.

He is also going to mop the floor with Clinton in the debates, with his merciless offense and the aforementioned everybody already knows the downsides of Trump she really can't do much to hurt him, but there is half a century's worth of dirt on the Clinton's, both Hillary and Bill to drag her down.

  • They shouldn't necessarily take him seriously as a person but they should take the political atmosphere seriously that causes large amounts of people to like him. The political atmosphere in the United States is absolutely toxic and the country has been torn apart during the past 20 years or so. Though this is largely the fault of the Republicans, it is the fault of all corrupt and self-absorbed mainstream politicians. This also includes lots of Democrats.

  • In general, they should be taking the united front of Republicans seriously. Not all Republicans are the same, but in the end they will vote for whichever candidate their party elects because in their mind, he or she is still better than the opposition. The same cannot be said for Democrats where many of them would prefer Bernie Sanders and/or may not vote if he does not get the nomination.

The problem for Democrats is that while Trump will receive unanimous Republican support in the end, Hillary will only receive divided support because of all the disheartened Bernie supporters who may not vote after his loss.

  • Yes. He's going to earn them more votes in the election than Clinton.

  • With Hillary running, yes. Too few ran in their primaries. Too many ran on the red team. The media and people unfortunately will ignore the Libertarians and green party.

  • its funny. With all trumps bungling and foolishness, recent polls show that he's tied or beating Hillary in important swing states. Imagine if Trump actually started getting his act together...

  • Given how disliked HRC is, they should be. Almost any other Democrat candidate would beat Trump by a landslide, but she's so bad, he might actually pull out a win.

  • They'd be fools if they don't. He's tied or winning in key swing states in recent polls. He's going to win.

  • Yes, we should. We cannot underestimate the stubborn stupidity of Trump supporters, so I will be voting for Clinton, mark my words.

  • Absolutely. Everyone should be taking the right-wing seriously. They've been ignored for too long, and shit is going to hit the fan whether you like it or not, one way or the other.

  • Since most elections are won by the votes of the undecided voters (those who don't know who they'll be voting for a week before) anything can happen
