  • Assuming you've got a Master's degree from a technical University (which is usually required to be recognized as a engineer in Switzerland), you earn pretty well. The starting salary right after graduation usually lies around 90,000-100,000 US dollars. At least that's how much a friend of mine makes who is an engineer. But if you work in the field for several decades and you've got a lot of experience and expertise, your salary can get close to the 200,000 dollar line.

  • That depends on the kind of specialization and age.
    A HS mechanical engineer won't have much.($1700 or so/month)
    A bachelor will gain more

An dr. ph. engineer-architect will get a lot.
