Of course thats an estimate and it would be more accurate if you know the traits of the grandparents. here's the website, you can play with it.

  • You'll never really know, even if you had a lab-tech friend ID what traits are more dominant than others.
If available, your best "tells" would be results from marriages to this family by outsider blonde hair dark brown eyes Caucasian
next best tells might come from celebrity babies Googled of similar traits

  • Probably Mexican. My godson's mom is a gringa with blonde hair (blue eyes, though). His dad is from the DF. He looks like his father. At customs and passport control in Mexico (we've traveled together) the Mexican officials always give the father crap that his son has a US passport, joking that he looks Mexican.

  • Well, you'd have to figure out the punnet square for that. Which traits are dominant and which ones are recessive. And even then, you can always have mutations (where the recessive takes over)

  • Hard to say, depends on which gene is dominant. Typically, I think darker genes are more dominant than fair genes, so I'd guess the baby would look more like his dad. But anything can happen.

  • Most likely the baby has the father's colours.
A male baby has the y needed to create xy so will most likely inherit all the fathers traits.
A female baby needs an x from the mother and an x from the father, so she will still have dark eyes but the hair could be blond. It can also change colour with age.

  • You must do Punnet square test for this, if you know what John G. Mendel did... :)
