If Disney re-made 'The Black Cauldron' into a live action movie, should it be rated R?

If they did that with this movie and put it up there as rated PG13 - rated R, do you think that would be a good idea or bad?

  • Disney doesn't do R for a movie like that. Great idea though

  • Hmmmm.

If they release it, they should have a company they've acquired release it.

That way Disney doesn't have to have their name on the cover if it flops.

Personally, I'd like to see it.

    P. S. Made me think of "Princess and the Goblin"... Another movie to buy. XD

  • I think it would be a good idea but Disney will never do it lol cause if there are no kids watching, no one will buy toys.

  • This would probably hurt Disney's image as a family kid oriented company.

That said if the black cauldron were released today it'd probably just be pg. maybe pg-13.

    definitely not R

How was Pirates of the Caribbean a family kid oriented? Those were rated PG-13.

I doubt it tbh. Unless it had some good marketing behind it.

  • It'd be interesting to see, but I very much doubt they'd do it, much less under the Disney brand.
