For my black queens, what does black girl magic mean to you? And how would you describe yours? To me, it means i have something that no one else can imitate. No one else can have my skin and my hair ir my eyes. My melanin is beautiful. I would describe my black girl magic as a wave of positive energy mixed with wild and crazy ambition.

First of all, it's really sad to see all this ignorance in the comments... Secondly, black girl magic to me is inspiring/supporting other black females around me. How would I describe myself? If you have the time on your hands to lie in bed all the time and be in awe at your melanin or your sexual power or what have you, you are privileged in such a way that would be enviable to the grand majority of the underdeveloped world (and a large portion of the developed world). Go get a job or do some homework or get a hobby or learn a skill or something.

where did i ever indicate that all we do is admire our melanin? there are a butt load of black woman who run businesses, take care of their children and have side hobbies and they still take the time to remember that they are beautiful no matter what and there is nothing wring with that. dont be ignorant
