Either he's really into being dominated, or he's exaggerating and simply saying he wants you to communicate more obviously. Sometimes when something a person does irritates their partner they don't say anything about it, which in turn leads the person to keep doing it and it causes a strain on the relationship.
Some women/people in general are just hard to read and aren't 100% open all the time. I'm guilty of this sometimes too.
Wow, he has no balls. I don't let my girlfriend boss me around, let alone hit me. I've told her many times that "you're not the boss of me" and she listens.
I agree with Totts. communication is key in a relationship and he may be feeling like your not being clear enough about what he does that you don't like. Another reason for this could be that maybe he feels like that's the only way he will ever learn to remember NOT to do what you don't like- he feels like that's the only way he learns, by physical reprimand instead of vocal. maybe?

I ask my guy to do the same thing. Its just, like I want him to control me I guess like say were in public and I p*ss someone off I want them t say "go get you girl" then him come over and hit me or something. I know its wierd, just being honest kinda like I'm his property
