Ugly Duckling Syndrome? Did you have it?

Did any of you have or know anyone who had UDS (Ugly Duckling Syndrome)? What are they like now and what were they like before? And is it possible for guys to have UDS too? Or is it more of a girls thing?

no everyone has it ,i used to be skinny, so skinny people thought I was anerexic but actually it was my meds I was on and I had glasses ugly, face couldent get a guy if I tried and no butt .now I have a butt my boyfriend grabs it anytime he can, I'm very pretty that's what a lot of guys say and there's a lot of eyes on me or for me to say to many to count and I've grown up bout average weight size 14 jeans, nice hip and thighs and I got all the men runnin for me even a 40 year old asked me out hah not happinin but a lot of my guy friends were just like me who I am happy to say are so sexy but I can't let my boyfriend know heh my secret.

I'd definitely say that I should have worn a bag over my head until my junior year of high school for my classmates' sake. I've known quite a few guys who became more attractive as they got older, so it can't be something that is entirely girl-related. I don't know if one gender has more cases of it than the other, though.

I can't really speak for anyone else, but I don't think that the "nice" trait applies to everyone who goes through UDS. I certainly wouldn't say that I'm nice because I've been completely hideous, I'm just aware of how to be courteous.

I love guys with "ugly duckling syndrome". I've met a couple, and at first impression you make assumptions about their personality since they're extremely attractive - and then you realize that they are the sweetest, kindest souls, and they don't even realize how (physically) beautiful they are. It's basically a hot guy without the cockiness - therefore, a perfect man.

I definitely had it. People don't even recognize me now. If girls can have it, than guys can have it too.

i think everyone has their pretty days and ugly days. I look the same exact way I did when I was little. really no change although I do wish I was ugly as a kid and sexy as an adult :P

I had it, and I had it bad, (don't take that in the wrong way) and most some guys will have it, I've seen it alot, in guys and girls, doesn't mean it will happen though.

hahaha I can say I did but that was before I got to know what looks good on me and what suits me. Now I'm a swan and the guys can't get enough :D
