Girlfriend wants me to change underwear type?

So not too long ago my girlfriend and I agreed to go underwear shopping with each other. We thought it would be a fun way to spice things up a little bit. So first we took a trip to Victoria Secret. I gotta admit, I had a lot of fun. It was was fun to pick out a few sets of underwear for her and see her model some of them for me.

However, the other day we did the reverse. We went shopping for me...and here is where the problem is. I am a boxer kind of guy. 95% of what I own is boxers. I do own 2 pairs of boxer briefs which I don't wear that often. My girlfriend however, likes those the best on me. So at first things are going well. Pick out a few boxers and a couple pairs of boxer briefs to satisfy her. But then she wants to take it a little further. She sees a few pairs of briefs and wanted me to get them. So after a little resistance I cave. I haven't worn briefs since elementary school. I definitely felt a little uncomfortable, however they seemed to really get her going. In fact, when we got home she made me try them on and after a lot of foreplay and yada yada yada, we had some of the best sex we've ever had.

So do I suck it up and get used to them (which seems to have some benefits) or let her know wearing them makes me feel weird? Or will I just get used to them again.

Thoughts? Advice?

My ex girlfriend and I were in a similar position. Got into an underwear discussion and she commented how boxer shorts on guys were too loose and baggy. She liked a little form to the package and wanted to pick out some underwear for me. She liked plain white briefs as well.

It didn't really bother me as I had worn boxer briefs before, but she preferred briefs. Wasn't a big deal and she loved it. Totally worth it.

My advice to you would be to make her happy and just go with it. It goes nothing against about your manhood if your wearing plain white briefs. Hey, you get a good deal amount of sex out of it and your friends most likely don't! You can get used to it. Nothing to be ashamed of.

The question is 'why did you feel uncomfortable?' Because you don't like them? Or because you think you shouldn't?

It's not too much to ask from your girlfriend to wear briefs is it?

It turns her on, so surely that matters to you.

Personally, I think you're lucky. She's obviously wuite liberal and wearing briefs for her is going to lead to her being super honey. A bad thing?

The best solution is to tell her you are not a briefs kinda guy but that you have noticed that she loves them on you, then give her some options if maybe you can model them for her when you two are in the mood or wear them a couple times a week :) Seems fair, win/win.

i thought we could just keep it to "in the bedroom" stuff, but she is pushing to he me wear them more often. I think I would feel awkward out with my friends knowing that I'm rocking a pair of briefs.

no not all women, but maybe when she saw a new thing you tried out, she enjoyed it. Just talk to her about it before there is any misunderstandings and so you won?t feel uncomfortable

If its giving you awesome sex I'd say hang on to them. Don't wear them everyday, just save em for when you're home and you wanna get her turned on and have a spontaneous heated night- its like your secret weapon.

I understand that you dislike briefs, so do I. However, I think you should keep them, and then wear them at special occasions to surprise her. Just as she might do with her best looking underwear/lingerie.
If you use them all the time, it will loose its effect. So use them wisely (never thought Id say that about underwear :D )

idk how you can hate boxer breifs. I used to be a boxers only guy, and I tried boxer briefs and it was like heaven. so much more comfy, and girls like the way they look too

Simple, compromise. Go with the boxer briefs. That's what I did years back. Switched from boxers to boxer briefs. Frankly I find them more comfortable and I know the girls love them.

When you know you're going to have alone time with her, change into the briefs.
