Do girls communicate their feelings through song lyrics?

I know my ex's do this on Facebook, but what about if its just a crush type of thing?

This girl that I just recently met showed some "signs", I'm not sure if its a mutual thing or if she's crushing on me. I'm the type that makes sure things are clear before making my move.

Like last night, she sat next to me, and listened to her ipod. she played this song what's my name by rihanna, REALLY loud. I looked at the lyrics, and I'm like ahuh? so I'm a challenge?

she also posted a status on fb, a song lyric that I was able to relate to. it was like when I met you blah blah blah

also I'm not losing my mind lol, when there is a elephant in the room, I'm not going to pretend its not there, so yah =/

I'm in this exact spot right now, with this young lady that I work with. Me 25, her 22. I suspect she has a mad crush on me, but is very shy about it in person, and sometime links up on Facebook, via Soundhound (and her I-phone which she says, literally sleeps with every night), certain songs whenever I do something, good or bad, such as surprise her with an encouraging comment on FB, or ignore her altogether like just now because we just had a war of words via FB messages this past weekend (I believe she might be trying to have control of the situation and has already turned me down asking her out once previously. But I've found ignoring her is the best medicine for when she seems to be in a bossy kind of mood, save for when I have to encounter her via circumstance). This has lasted for over a month now, although she doesn't post up songs every day, it just happens to be right after I do something for the most part, good or bad.

I only bring this up because it just happened about an hour ago and I know there's more to just her posting a random song once you listen to the lyrics of it, and knowing full well that I am going to see that eventually, AND that its aimed at me. Or so I think, but then again, I'm just a guy who, according to her and the message war we just had, is "stupid" when it comes to non-verbal communication "hints". I'm not perfect, but I now know what to look for, on some level anyway...

There's nothing clear about this, if you like her. You should just ask her female friends if she has any feelings for you. More than likely if she's liked you at all, she's told them and if she hasn't, they can investigate and get back to you.

This way, you won't have to make things awkward between the friendship.

No I don't post fb lyric statuses, I'd prefer it if everyone doesn't know how I'm feeling at every moment of the day. Also I'm pretty sure that song that she was listening to at the time, doesn't really represent how she feels about you. You're reading into that too much she was probably just listening to a song.

no. I only post lyrics or songs for encouragement or bcs I like the song. if I actually like someone, I have a whole different approach! but, hey, maybe some girls do it, so keep your fingers crossed.
